 Where have you been Jakey the Clown??

Thank you for missing me!!  I missed y'all too!!

But where have you been?!?

I have been at home taking care of myself

after falling from a ladder

and breaking both of my legs...  :(

Ouchie Jakey - I bet that hurt!!  You okay now?

Much, much better thank you!

I spent a couple of months in a wheelchair...

Then graduated to a walker.

I was smart.  

Followed my doctor's orders

did my physical therapy

and am now nearly

back to normal!!

YAY Jakey!!!

Will you come to my Birthday Party?

YES!!!  As long as it is in March 2016 and beyond!

Am giving myself the rest of February

to do more physical therapy

and quit being quite so

wobbly on my legs!

Old Pecan Street Fall Festival 2015

FUN at Pecan St. Fall Festival 2015!

Jakey had SO much FUN!!

A gal came up to me and asked me to create

a balloon design unlike anything else

I had ever done before.

Wanted it to look different from all angles.

She was delighted with my creation!

A little while later

2 girls who had seen my creation

asked me to make them each one too!

More than happy to oblige!!

It's all about FUN!!

That is why I love being Jakey the Clown 

 because it is all about FUN!

Children are our future

 the experiences they have in their youth 

shapes the adults they will eventually become.

Face it Peeps 

 we are not leaving our kids a perfect world by any means!  Kids need to have FUN!!!! 

They will have to deal with a little bit too much reality 

in way too short an amount of time as it is...

Jakey will never grow up!

Not in the traditional sense...

Perhaps...

I make balloon swords

but would never use a real sword.

I refuse to make balloon guns.

Guns of any kind are not meant to be toys for kids.

The group of mostly 1-5 year olds enjoyed

singing along to:

"Itsy Bitsy Spider"!

Jakey was accompanied by her mandolin!

HAPPY NEW YEAR KIDS!!!

Santa Claus made his rounds just one week ago!

He is now taking a well deserved nap...

As always, Jakey was Santa's good little helper

at many Christmas Festivals

in Central Texas!

This year of 2015 she'll turn 11 years old!

In 2016 Jakey will turn 12 years old (again!)!

Clowns can't become teenagers you know!  LOL!!

in the North Woods!

 

 

 

Lots of wildlife too!  Deer, Timber Wolves, Black Bear,

Mallards, Loons & Eagles!!

Jakey the Clown dresses silly from head to toe!

At last count, Jakey has over 

50 pairs of toe socks

and 20 pairs of flip-flops!!

 

Sometimes the weather is too cold

for flip-flops and toe socks...

 

In Central Texas though

the weather is usually just right  

for Jakey's toe socks and flip-flops!!

A few raindrops cooled things off

very nicely for the rest of the day!

Easter Egg Hunt!

My Easter Bonnet!

Easter is Jakey's favorite time of year!

She only gets to wear her Easter Bonnet once a year...

Covered in flowers with a butterfly, a blue jay and of course the Easter Bunny perched on the very top!

Love is in the air!

Baby Gators!

Jakey loves Texas, but it's been SO cold!

So when I had the opportunity to go somewhere

warm, it was time for an adventure to

Florida!

Ahhh...  basking in the sunshine!

 Okay... I wouldn't want to live in a swamp, but 

I had fun doing a Muck-About at Clyde Butcher's!

Plus the 87 degree temps were marvelous!!

were inviting for everyone!

 Plus I saw a real Pirate Ship!!

Now Jakey is back in Central Texas 

and ready for Valentine's Day in Austin, Elgin,

Bastrop, Taylor, Hutto, Giddings, Pflugerville,

Georgetown, Round Rock, Manor, Del Valle,

Leander, Cedar Park, Lockhart & Lakeway!

Love is indeed in the air

with spring time just around the corner!
