FUN at Pecan St. Fall Festival 2015!

Jakey had SO much FUN!!

A gal came up to me and asked me to create

a balloon design unlike anything else

I had ever done before.

Wanted it to look different from all angles.

She was delighted with my creation!

A little while later

2 girls who had seen my creation

asked me to make them each one too!

More than happy to oblige!!

It's all about FUN!!

That is why I love being Jakey the Clown 

 because it is all about FUN!

Children are our future

 the experiences they have in their youth 

shapes the adults they will eventually become.

Face it Peeps 

 we are not leaving our kids a perfect world by any means!  Kids need to have FUN!!!! 

They will have to deal with a little bit too much reality 

in way too short an amount of time as it is...

Jakey will never grow up!

Not in the traditional sense...

Perhaps...

I make balloon swords

but would never use a real sword.

I refuse to make balloon guns.

Guns of any kind are not meant to be toys for kids.

as the first party - but the weather turned COLD!!

Most of the children were deaf or hearing impaired, 

so Jakey boned up on her ASL!

Pickles is the chihuahua's name, the bear is named Rosie, 

the silver monkey is Bruno, the unicorn is Pureheart, 

the poodle is Sassy and the flower's name is Ms. Flores!

They join Jakey in wishing all of you in Austin, Lakeway, 

Round Rock, Pflugerville, Coupland, Taylor, Hutto, 

Rockdale, Elgin, Bastrop, Cedar Park, Elroy, Del Valle,  

Georgetown, Smithville, Mustang Ridge, Lockhart, Giddings, 

Bastrop County, Travis County, Williamson County

Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival 2013

 FUN!!!!

The organizers of the July 4th

Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival

 know how to throw a pfamily fun party!

Balloon art, face painters, music 

(including The Austin Civic Wind Ensemble),

yummy food & vendors to

entertain the thousands of people!

 

For the first time, this year they had 

festivities on both the 

North and the South Shores

of Lake Pflugerville!

Jakey was on the South Shore along with

2 Face Painters!

 

I went through a ton of

red, white & blue balloons!

Put together a special menu of

4th of July

balloon creations!

The most popular were the Firework Hat 

and the Sparkler!

Also the "I Love the USA" twister and 

the Yankee Doodle Dandy hat!

 

  
As usual, I only got a few pictures

none of the Firework hat...

Birthday Party Fun!!

Fun!!

Jakey entertained at Vince's 4th Birthday, and then his daddy had me back to entertain at his 5th Birthday Party!

 

Birthday Girl!

Jakey performed her original story 

"The Land of Wulf" 

at the Giddings Public Library for 

Alyssa's 2nd Birthday Party!  

Here she is holding her puppy and Mariposa 

who saved the day by discovering why 

the sky was orange!

 

Mommy!

Mommy to 5 (yes 5!) daughters!  

She put together the most awesome 

Birthday Party for all 5 of them!

She chose a Circus theme... 

Jakey did balloon art, 

plus there was a face painter 

who had wonderful designs, 

a petting zoo with minature horses 

for the kids to ride, party games 

and an official photographer!

Several of the kids recognized Jakey 

from Breakfast with Santa at the 

Little Acorn Academy in Cedar Park!

Old Pecan Street Fall Festival 2012

 There are some die-hard UT Longhorn fans

in downtown Austin!

For the first time ever, Saturday's Old Pecan Street Festival was basically cancelled...

The weatherman put a lot of fear into people, predicting up to 8 inches of rain and wide spread flooding.

The organizers cancelled the bands and the food vendors.

I would have gone anyway, but if it floods out where I live, the roads become inaccessible...

Sunday was a gorgeous day - tons of beautiful sunshine and thousands of people came to Pecan St.!

I stayed busy making balloon art for 9 hours straight!

So busy, that I only got these 2 pictures!

    

These kids had a lot of fun - and so did I!!  :)

The Dog Days of August....

Jakey the Clown thinks that "The Dog Days of August"

  should be renamed to 

"Octopus Days of August"!

After all, octopuses swim!

Well so do dogs, but the octopus actually lives in the water.

Stays nice and cool...

Which we should all do in the summer heat of August!
