Jakey is back!!

 Where have you been Jakey the Clown??

Thank you for missing me!!  I missed y'all too!!

But where have you been?!?

I have been at home taking care of myself

after falling from a ladder

and breaking both of my legs...  :(

Ouchie Jakey - I bet that hurt!!  You okay now?

Much, much better thank you!

I spent a couple of months in a wheelchair...

Then graduated to a walker.

I was smart.  

Followed my doctor's orders

did my physical therapy

and am now nearly

back to normal!!

YAY Jakey!!!

Will you come to my Birthday Party?

YES!!!  As long as it is in March 2016 and beyond!

Am giving myself the rest of February

to do more physical therapy

and quit being quite so

wobbly on my legs!

It's all about FUN!!

That is why I love being Jakey the Clown 

 because it is all about FUN!

Children are our future

 the experiences they have in their youth 

shapes the adults they will eventually become.

Face it Peeps 

 we are not leaving our kids a perfect world by any means!  Kids need to have FUN!!!! 

They will have to deal with a little bit too much reality 

in way too short an amount of time as it is...

Jakey will never grow up!

Not in the traditional sense...

Peter Pan syndrome?

Perhaps...

I make balloon swords

but would never use a real sword.

I refuse to make balloon guns.

Guns of any kind are not meant to be toys for kids.

More Birthday Party Fun!!

Isn't turning 10 years old FUN!?!

This 10 year old in Austin sure thought so!!

Jakey sure had fun at her 

Birthday Party!!

Yet another Birthday Party in Oak Hill

had Jakey entertaining not only with

Balloon Art, but also a sing-a-long!

The group of mostly 1-5 year olds enjoyed

singing along to:

"If You're Happy and You Know It" &

"Itsy Bitsy Spider"!

Jakey was accompanied by her mandolin!

Jakey the Clown dresses silly from head to toe!

At last count, Jakey has over 

50 pairs of toe socks

and 20 pairs of flip-flops!!

 

Sometimes the weather is too cold

for flip-flops and toe socks...

 

In Central Texas though

the weather is usually just right  

for Jakey's toe socks and flip-flops!!

At one point it got quite windy and Jakey's

supplies blew here and there...

A few raindrops cooled things off

very nicely for the rest of the day!

Hog Eye Festival in Elgin 

just to name a few!!

December 13th Jakey will be making

Holiday in Heritage Park

in Pflugerville, TX.!

December 15th is a BIG double celebration!

Jakey will be entertaining at

Christmas in the Park

in Manor, TX., 

and not only that, but 

it is Jakey's Birthday!!!

Jakey was in the back lot of

The University of Texas Coop!

Along with a bunch of face painters,

the author of a cookbook

and Bevo!

It was a burnt orange kind of day!

Some preferred a white or even a

pink Longhorn (GO Lady Horns!)

And others enjoyed having the 

UT colors in a totally different form!

Though most of the huge crowds

were at the Tailgate Parties

everyone that was at the UT Coop

had a blast!!

Jakey's Magical Yard

Jakey's Magical Yard is a story in progress!  

Filled with multicolored balloon trees, 

a magical Unicorn, puppies and kitties that fly!

Every animal under the sun, 

 including happy bees 

are named and play a vital role in 

Jakey's Magical Yard!

When the story is complete, Jakey will add it to her collection of stories that she performs at birthday parties and other events!  

 Illustrated with balloon art and kids that participate in the story!

In an effort to up Jakey's page rankings on the Search Engines for her website, she changed the title of her website...

Have some tweaking to do yet, but we'll see if it helps to draw in a tad more business - especially from the Bastrop area!

in Elgin was a LOT of fun!

The mascot Riverbat from 

Austin Community College 

was there!

Lots of holiday balloons were made.

Jakey got pictures of this happy young man 

with a 2-headed dragon, 

and these 2 best friends with 2 kitty cats! 

Two weeks later Jakey got this picture of Elmo with a giraffe she made for him!

It was Jakey's Birthday (12/15)

and it was fun having Elmo help her celebrate!

Little Acorn Academy in Cedar Park!

Jakey did a LOT of baking!

Cookies and breads - yummy!

What better way to deliver them on 

Christmas morning, but with 

mini-Rudolphs as bows?  :)

his 3 rescue Pit Bulls!

They performed for the crowd at the Love-A-Bull celebration at Republic Square Park in downtown Austin
