Jakey's Magical Yard
Jakey's Magical Yard is a story in progress!
Filled with multicolored balloon trees,
a magical Unicorn, puppies and kitties that fly!
Every animal under the sun,
including happy bees
are named and play a vital role in
Jakey's Magical Yard!

Holiday by the Tracks
in Elgin was a LOT of fun!
The mascot Riverbat from
was there!
Lots of holiday balloons were made.
Jakey got pictures of this happy young man
with a 2-headed dragon,
and these 2 best friends with 2 kitty cats!
Two weeks later Jakey got this picture of Elmo with a giraffe she made for him!
It was Jakey's Birthday (12/15)
and it was fun having Elmo help her celebrate!

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
was very popular at the
Little Acorn Academy in Cedar Park!
Jakey did a LOT of baking!
Cookies and breads - yummy!
What better way to deliver them on
Christmas morning, but with
mini-Rudolphs as bows? :)

This Angel Doggie was up for adoption at this year's
Love-A-Bull celebration in Republic Square Park in downtown Austin!

Old Pecan Street Fall Festival 2012
There are some die-hard UT Longhorn fans
in downtown Austin!
For the first time ever, Saturday's Old Pecan Street Festival was basically cancelled...
The weatherman put a lot of fear into people, predicting up to 8 inches of rain and wide spread flooding.
The organizers cancelled the bands and the food vendors.
I would have gone anyway, but if it floods out where I live, the roads become inaccessible...
Sunday was a gorgeous day - tons of beautiful sunshine and thousands of people came to Pecan St.!
I stayed busy making balloon art for 9 hours straight!
So busy, that I only got these 2 pictures!
These kids had a lot of fun - and so did I!! :)

I have been delinquent in my blogging! The events I have worked since March - well I've been so very busy making balloon art that there was no time to take any pictures...

Elgin Hog Eye Festival 2011
Jakey with two of the "Sowpremes"
They put a pink boa on me to add some bling!
The Sowpremes arrived at the 24th Annual Hog Eye Festival in Elgin, TX. riding in on the back of Harley Davidson motorcycles! These gals can really sing!!
I made a lot of motorcycle balloons! The kids like having a choice of who is riding on it; a dog, a monkey, Mickey Mouse or Spiderman!
Personally I like the monkey on a motorcycle - I make great monkey sounds! :))
As my mother would say:
"Drives me bananas!"
I love working the home grown festivals in Elgin!

"The Land of Wulf"
"The Land of Wulf"
Is a story Jakey wrote and performs with balloon art!
Recently performed with the help of Morgan the Magnificent
(aka The Jokester)
plus all the kids at Charlotte's Birthday Party!
The basic story:
It is a land of puppies. Once a year the elder puppies gather under
the full moon and teach the baby puppies how to howl! This year
however, the full moon does not appear and instead the whole sky is a
bright orange.
The elders ask a variety of forest friends if they can help to find
out what is going on. It isn't until they ask Polly Parrot (who can
fly to the tree tops) that they discover the orange sky is actually a
herd of giraffes!
The giraffes had lost their home in a forest fire and ended up in the
land of Wulf. The tree tops in Wulf are covered in delicious purple
flowers that the giraffes can not resist! They all make friends and
agree that at the full moon the giraffes would not block the view!
Happy ending with the giraffes having a new home, and the baby puppies
